Hastings Pier the day after it was ordered closed due to it being un-safe. sad really, these things were built by the victorians to allow coastal steamers, pleasure cruise ships, to dock at various seaside resorts. Had all manner of entertainment on them, even when I was a kid we could go the of the pier with a long piece of string and an old bit of wire for a hook...then all that became chargeable too, had to book and pay for a spot just to be a kid, good ol' England the land of getting screwed for as much as possible for as little as possible.
