This gallery is landscapes that man has altered to suit his own wants as well as structures. (do note I used the word 'wants' not 'needs'). I used to call these types of image 'architectural' but having travelled extensively and made a career out of looking and seeing what is around us I have come to the conclusion that modern architecture and modern day architects totally lack anything inspirational or interesting and just as well use photoshop clone tools to design anything. How nice would it be if they could step out side of their cloistered little mindsets and leave the glass box geometric shapes in the playroom and be a bit more adventurous with out resorting to the extreme in rediculous? I dare say there are a few architects around who don't court the rediculous to try and win an award but sadly, haven't knowingly seen one yet (Noticed how they all dress the same too? Strange)Never mind, rant over, our forebears had some real inspiration and the designers at the local building firms can be pretty cute with a pen and paper when they want too.
